What is Laser Hair Removal (LHR)
Laser hair removal or reduction (LHR) is a process whereby laser energy is used to penetrate the hair follicle and stop its hair from growing. It is a popular method of hair removal at sites like the face and the underarms, and can be applied to other body sites as well.
Hair to be removed has the following characteristics
- Mature/ “Terminal” hair
- Coloured hair (not white/ grey)
- Skin site free of injury or irritation or infection
