What are JUVÉDERM® Fillers?

The JUVÉDERM family of fillers are used to help patients address facial signs of aging and restore volume, and are one of the most widely recognized filler collections. They are hyaluronic-acid based, which means they add plumpness under the skin to combat lines and wrinkles, as well as add volume to the cheeks, chin, and lips. They also stimulate collagen production for natural, beautiful results. Each product in the JUVÉDERM fillers line features different concentrations of hyaluronic acid, which are used to target specific problems.

There are a number of JUVÉDERM fillers, including:

  • JUVÉDERM® Volite: A unique hydrating treatment of hyaluronic acid that improves skin quality.
  • JUVÉDERM® Voluma™ XC: Adds volume to the cheek area to combat midface volume loss.
  • JUVÉDERM® Volift™: Adds volume to smooth out smile lines.
  • JUVÉDERM® Volbella™ XC: Adds volume to the lips.
  • JUVÉDERM® Volux: Adds volume to the chin/ jawline.

Depending on your cosmetic goals, Dr. Beach will work with you to determine which JUVÉDERM filler or filler combination is right for you.

JUVÉDERM® Filler Treatment

To prepare for treatment, the team at DermAtelier on Avenue will explain the procedure and obtain your consent.  “Before” photos will be taken of you from various angles and are used to highlight your results after treatment.  The area of treatment will be cleansed thoroughly.  Then, Dr. Beach will carefully inject the JUVÉDERM product into the treatment areas using a fine syringe attached to a cannula.  The number of injections needed and the volume of product injected will depend on the results desired.  After the treatment, your skin is recleansed and “After” photos in the same poses are taken to highlight your improvement.  You will receive aftercare instructions on how best to care for and protect your filler after treatment.
