DermAtelier on Avenue accepts referrals for medical appointments through OHIP (Ontario Health Insurance Plan) from your MD/Medical Doctor or NP/Nurse Practitioner.
Due to changes in the UHIP process, the office no longer accepts the University Health Insurance Plan (UHIP).
Elective and cosmetic procedures can be booked by calling the office directly and are paid outside of OHIP.
Patients with no insurance, who seek care for medical dermatology concerns, will be billed directly for all in-office services as well as additional lab processing fees.
Please note that all applicable clinic charges are payable at the time of each treatment, and are paid by debit/ credit/ e-transfer.
Please note that all sites (swabs, biopsies, etc) removed by the dermatologist are sent for processing and pathology testing and associated lab fees with this testing will be charged directly to the individual via the lab itself.
