What is Pearl?

The Pearl Laser is a skin resurfacing treatment to improve skin texture, tone, and overall appearance. It uses an ablative laser to remove damaged skin layers, reducing sun spots, fine lines, and wrinkles.

What’s the Procedure Like?

Numbing will be applied to your skin for about 20 minutes. The skin will be cleansed, and protective eye shields may be applied for your safety. You will be able to hear the laser, but not feel it. It forms little pixelations (dots) on the skin to encourage skin rejuvenation with new collagen

Who’s an ideal candidate?

You’re the ideal candidate for this procedure if you have noticeable skin discolouration (sun spots) with fine lines, some crepiness and skin looseness (laxity). This procedure is for lighter skin tones; whereas deeper skin tones benefit from RF microneedling

Who should avoid this treatment?

Patients who want no downtime would be best suited to Intense pulsed light (IPL) which provides gradual results instead. Patients with deeper skin tones will benefit from RF Microneedling or other combination therapies.

What is the downtime for this treatment?

In general, you will note downtime of ~ 4 days. During this period, your skin will be regenerating with more clarity, less wrinkling and smoother skin.
