What is Microtox?
This procedure takes tiny amount of neuromodulator (e.g. Botox, Xeomin) and injects it into the second layer of the skin (dermis). It takes less than an hour to complete and in about 2 weeks, you will notice skin that feels tighter, looks smoother and has less oil, less pore prominence, and undergoes less sweating.
What’s the Procedure Like?
Numbing will be applied to your skin for about 20 minutes. The skin will be cleansed, and the sites for target will be mapped out in a grid like fashion before the treatment is injected into the skin.
Who’s an ideal candidate?
This procedure is for you if you want to have a procedure that lasts ~ 3 months and leaves your skin with a beautiful topography – it looks smoother, pores appear smaller, the skin is less oily, and it feels tighter. What is the downtime for this treatment?
After treatment, the skin will show some pinpoint needle injection sites. These sites close within a few hours; it is recommended that you avoid applying makeup, or doing any sweaty exercise.
