DR. RENÉE A. BEACH
Renée A. Beach is a medical doctor (MD) specialized in dermatology and is internationally recognized for her provision of excellence in medical and cosmetic care for patients of all skin tones. She established DermAtelier on Avenue in 2020 to provide dermatology expertise to Torontonians in a modern and comfortable setting.
Dr. Beach is a board-certified fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (FRCPC) and a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology (FAAD). She also holds membership with the American Society for Dermatologic Surgeons (ASDS) and the Skin of Color Society (SOCS). She maintains a presence in the academic realm with bedside teaching of medical students in the office setting as well as didactic lectures for medical students and dermatology residents. She has been an Assistant Professor with the University of Toronto Faculty of Medicine since 2018.
After completion of her undergraduate education with an HonsBSc. at the University of Toronto (Victoria University, St. George Campus), she earned her MD from McMaster University. Dr. Beach’s 5-year dermatology residency training occurred at the University of Ottawa where she also completed electives at the University of Cape Town, Duke University and Wake Forest University to broaden her exposure to medical and cosmetic skin and scalp treatments.
Dr. Beach’s approach to your care prioritizes patient results and comfort. She enjoys working alongside you to help minimize medical dermatology issues to improve the health of your skin and ultimately, your quality of life. For cosmetic conditions, Dr. Beach collaborates with you to guide your enhancements with solutions that are evidence-based and result in optimized, naturally beautiful aesthetic results.
She is active on social media (@dermabeach), and uses this form of engagement to communicate dermatologic information, translate dermatologic research findings, share skincare facts, debunk myths and connect with her patients.
