Cysts are small enclosures generally found between the skin and the fat. They are better felt than actually seen. They are encased in a shell or a cyst wall.
What’s the Procedure Like?
The procedure will involve numbing of the site, and cleansing it. Removal occurs using either an incision or excisional method which will be mapped out for you prior to the procedure.
Who’s an ideal candidate?
This procedure is for you if you have a cyst that you dislike and want it to be removed in place of a flat linear scar.
Who should avoid this treatment?
If you would prefer to avoid a procedure that involves a scar, then this procedure is best avoided.
What is the downtime for this treatment?
Downtime involves some swelling and bruising at the treated site with stitches that are in for up to 2 weeks.
